About

The BC Aboriginal Child Care Society (BCACCS) offers a variety of services that provide early childhood education professionals, support service professionals, and Indigenous children and families access to early learning programs, resources, training, research, and community services that are culturally based.

Our Purpose

Our Team

Our team is made up of dedicated people situated throughout the province with a broad range of experience and knowledge that provide leadership, training, resources, and services to support Indigenous early learning and child care. We honour the memory and dedication of those that came before us and have joined us in our journey to support Indigenous early learning child care. We fondly remember Perry Shawana, Lenora Joseph, Elder Mary Thomas, Elder Rose Point, Elder Fred John, and Scott Nahanee.

Our Partners

BCACCS collaborates on local, regional, provincial, and national levels. We continue to develop relationships with Indigenous communities and leadership, sector leaders, frontline workers, parents, funders, and government. This work requires the development of partnerships and the nurturing of relationships in order to help Indigenous children and families thrive.

You can see the full list of our partners in our Annual Reports.
