Indigenous Early Learning and Child Care 
• COVID-19 Emergency Funding for Indigenous Early Learning and Child Care Programs 
Programs are invited to apply for one-time funding to support children birth to six years of age and their families during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Recipients can receive up to $10,000 in funding for the period of June 1, 2020 – September 30, 2020.

• Temporary Emergency Funding
Licensed group child care providers and smaller home-based child care providers are eligible for Temporary Emergency Funding (TEF) to keep operations going or maintain their business while closed. First Nations and Urban Indigenous programs who receive Child Care Operating Funding (CCOF) are encouraged to apply for TEF whether they have closed or remain open. Programs that are eligible for CCOF but are not currently accessing it are encouraged to apply. View the guidelines here. To get assistance from BCACCS Advisors email [email protected].
• Child Care Operating Funding
Child Care Operating Funding (CCOF) is available for eligible licensed providers through CCOF Base Funding, the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI) and the Early Childhood Educator Wage Enhancement (ECE-WE)

• Indigenous Services Canada -COVID-19: First Nations Community Guide on Accessing Additional Supports
ISC’s regional health emergency management coordinators, communicable disease coordinators, regional medical officers and regional emergency management leads are working with First Nations communities in support of public health emergency preparedness and response activities.
• COVID-19 Emergency Rent Supplement Program for Métis 
MNBC recognizes that citizens have been deeply impacted by the on-going COVID-19 pandemic. Through funding support provided by the Federal Government, MNBC will be providing a temporary rent supplement to Métis Nation citizens who are currently renting their homes. • Canada’s COVID-19 Economic Response Plan
The Government of Canada is taking immediate, significant and decisive action to support Canadians and businesses facing hardship as a result of the global COVID-19 outbreak. Read more about the funding supports available.
• Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) 
If you have stopped working because of COVID-19, the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) may provide you with temporary income support. The CERB provides $500 a week for up to 16 weeks.

• BC Financial Supports in Response to COVID-19
This is where the Government of BC list all the current COVID-19 financial supports available.
• BC Emergency Benefit for Workers
The BC Emergency Benefit for Workers will provide a one-time $1,000 payment to people whose ability to work has been affected due to COVID-19.
• Emergency Relief Support Fund
The BC government is providing a new Emergency Relief Support Fund and has added service flexibility for parents of children with special needs to help during the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Support for Renters and Landlords
To support people and prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Province is introducing a new temporary rental supplement, halting evictions and freezing rents, among other actions.
• Request Temporary Emergency Child Care for Essential Workers
This service is for essential service workers who are in need of child care for children aged infant to 5 years.

Customers on a monthly payment plan who are facing financial challenges due to COVID-19 may defer their payment for up to 90 days with no penalty.
