Workshop: Basic Sign Language

You will learn the ABC’s, fingerspelling, general greetings and introductions, days of the week, numbers, foods, colours, feelings, and much more. In Signed language, gestures of the hands, the face and the body are used to produce the language rather than the vocal chords and mouth. The classes are fun and use practical and creative ways to allow you to practice and learn the signing vocabulary. Teaching assistants, early childhood educators, support people and anyone with non-verbal children will find this course incredibly valuable.
