The McConnell Reconciliation Initiative focuses its efforts on bringing forward the societal change necessary for a reconciliation economy. In cooperation with Indigenous communities and other stakeholders, it targets the key areas of (1) collaborative funding models; (2) innovative platforms for change; and (3) solutions finance.
Use the Indigenous Bursaries Search Tool to search more than 750 bursaries, scholarships and incentives across Canada, offered by governments, universities and colleges, private and public companies, individual Canadians, organizations and others aimed at Indigenous students.
The goal of the ETG is to help British Columbians access the skills training they need to adapt to the changing requirements of jobs and the labour market while encouraging employer involvement in the training of their employees. Some child care centres have successfully applied for funding to traing their ECEs.
As part of Government’s Early Care and Learning Recruitment and Retention Strategy, front-line Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) working in eligible licensed child care facilities receiving Child Care Operating Funding (CCOF) are eligible to receive a $1 per hour wage enhancement.
