As part of Government’s Early Care and Learning Recruitment and Retention Strategy, front-line Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) working in eligible licensed child care facilities receiving Child Care Operating Funding (CCOF) are eligible to receive a $1 per hour wage enhancement.
One-time Start-Up Grants are available to help eligible unlicensed child care providers - whether Registered Licence-Not-Required (RLNR) or Licence-Not-Required (LNR) - to become licensed child care facilities under the Community Care and Assisted Living Act.

Provides funding to build quality, licensed child care in all regions of the province (on and off reserve). Indigenous Governments are eligible for up to $3 million in capital funding and Indigenous non-profit societies are eligible for up to $1.5 million (both at 100% Provincial contribution) to build a child care centre, renovate a building to create child care, or renovate to expand current child care services.
