Laidlaw Foundation invests in Indigenous youth-led projects related to land, language, and culture, to support the transmission of cultural practices to future generations in order to promote nation building, decolonization, and reconciliation.
Indigitization supports First Nations and Indigenous communities in B.C through the process of digitizing cultural knowledge stored on at-risk audio cassettes. It offers matching funds of up to $10,000 per project and training for community organizations during the digitization process. The program also provides an online toolkit which can be used by any First Nations communities wishing to engage in digitization.
The RBC Youth Mental Well-being Project supports programs that help youth and families access the right care. The RBC Emerging Artists Project supports initiatives that help emerging artists by bridging the gap from academic to professional career.
