This project, supported by the First Nations Early Childhood Development Council (FNECDC), seeks to identify strategic actions and policy changes necessary to develop and maintain an effective, qualified early childhood development (ECD) workforce.
The specific aim of this research was to assess aspects related to the training and retention of Early Childhood Educators in First Nations Communities across British Columbia.
This research documents the perspectives and opinions of two groups with first-hand experience related to licensing First Nations’ early childhood programs.
