The purpose of the Vancouver Aboriginal Early Years Network (VAEYN) is to engage Vancouver-based organizations providing childare support to urban Aboriginal families and children by exploring the creation of an Aboriginal child and family support hub to provide high-quality, culturally-appropriate support to urban Aboriginal children and their parents through collaborative models.
Our goals:
- Advance the goals of Reconciliation
- Raise awareness of local Aboriginal early years programs and services
- Support capacity increase of Aboriginal early years stakeholders
- Strengthen and established Aboriginal early years network
