The stories that inform our practices shape us whether we are aware of it or not. It is important critical and ethical practice to think about the words we use to see, think and describe what a child is doing. The phrases and words we use can shape a child’s world and internal narrative. In this workshop educators will get a chance to think together about what words diminish and what words empower.
