You can help support Indigenous early learning and child care. We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities to engage and inspire you. Volunteers have the opportunity to learn new skills and develop lasting connections.

Here’s how you can get involved:

Volunteer time

We host an annual training event in the fall for early childhood educators and support services serving Indigenous children. If you are interested in helping during the event, email to find out more about this opportunity.

Intern for the Resource Centre

Are you interested in library information technology? The BCACCS Resource Centre has lots of materials in it that we need help adding to the catalogue and website. Email to find out more details.

Help us fundraise

We welcome the support of people like you to help fundraise and spread the word about our Indigenous early years and child care work. Every dollar counts to ensure that Indigenous children are provided the foundation they need and families and educators have the tools and resources for success. Email to find out what kinds of opportunities are possible.

Time commitment

Time commitments vary according to what kind of volunteering you are doing and the length of the project or event. Internships can last between 2-12 weeks and our annual training event is 3 days.

Why volunteer?

Volunteers benefit from skill development, recognition for their involvement, connecting with people interested in supporting Indigenous children, and gain the sense that they are doing something to help children thrive.
